BioHome is a revolutionary new biological filtration media. BioHome has been used and tested in both public aquariums and aqua-culture farms around the world. BioHome has both internal and external surface area for bacteria to grow, which makes it one of the best biological filtration media around. BioHome is safe for both Saltwater and Freshwater aquariums, New or Old.
BioHome is produced from recycled glass which provides safe to touch pellets that contain both external surface area, but also deep internal surface area. Though not as cheap as plastic bio-balls, BioHome provides owners everything they would expect of a professional biological filtration media. It is important to know that plastic and ceramic media only have minimal if any internal surface area. BioHome having both internal and external surface area, provide more surface area with less space.
BioHome Standard BioHome Plus
BioHome is offered in two forms, BioHome Standard and BioHome Plus. Both are equally effective but BioHome plus has extra trace elements such as Iron, which helps aid the growth of quick beneficial bacteria colonies. It is recommended that Aquarist with new or overstocked aquariums select BioHome Plus. BioHome Standard is recommend for aquarist with older established tanks. After you have selected which form of BioHome is right for you, Decide which size is right for you. BioHome sells in a 300G bag which is fine for HOB and small canisters, BioHome also sells in 1KG bags which is enough for standard canister filters.
